Immunotherapy suffers from immune cell fatigue. Chemo drug results in resistance. Our approach does not depend on these external contents, e.g., chemical or immune cells. We deliver constructs that carry genes the cells already have, but in a distribution closer to normal states, to internally rebalance and restore the physical states of cancer cells to normal. It does not depend on the function of immune cells, which may become fatigued by cancer cells, nor on chemicals that are toxic to the body, nor on external irradiation, which can cause more mutations and make cancer cells progress towards more advanced stages.
We have rich experience in supervising trainees on bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. levels. We have a long-standing interest in applying our physical and mechanical knowledge to create novel applications for the biomedical industry. We are in the process of expanding our capabilities and plans to hire a Computational Biologist to support the development of our cell-state restoration technology. We welcome computational biologists or biophysicists with strong research motivations to join our team.
We are actively seeking collaborations to work with leading academic institutes or biotechnology/pharmaceutical companies to generate specialized lists of state contributors pertaining to individual cancer types and individual patients based on our algorithms. We have the expertise and capabilities to support every stage of the development process of the product.
The Company was founded by Dr. Xiao Ping Wu, a scientist with more than 2 decades of experience in mechanical-thermal engineering and modeling complex physical systems. ACA Biotech applies these physical science principles to biological systems, allowing the Company to analyze cellular behavior through the lens of physical states. This interdisciplinary perspective enables the development of computational methods that bridge physical science and molecular biology to better understand disease states.
